LOUISBURG —Funeral services for William “W.A” Davis, 81, who died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at South Main Street Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. David Rosby officiating. Burial will follow in the M. H. Jones cemetery.

Surviving: son, James Davis of Raleigh; sister, Helen Yancey of Baltimore, Md.; brothers, Carl Davis, Jesse Thomas and Dallas Thomas, all of Louisburg; and eight grandchildren.

Wake services will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
