ZEBULON – Franklin Durward Creech, 77, died Friday night, Oct. 12, 2012 at William Dunlap Hospice Home. A funeral service was held Monday at Union Chapel Baptist Church.  Burial followed in church cemetery. 

He was a son of the late Heber and Merlie Whitley Creech. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Mettie Creech.  He retired from Westinghouse/ABB after 42 years of service.

Surviving: sons, Durward Creech (Kathy) of Franklinton and Derek Creech of Raleigh; sister, Inez Richards, and brother, Charles Creech, both of Zebulon; two grandchildren and threegreat- grandchildren.
