RALEIGH - Richard Freeman, 99, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at Riley Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Corinth UCC cemetery in Youngsville.

He was born to the late David and Nancy Jones Freeman of Wake County. Surviving are: seven grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Feggins-Feggins Funeral and Cremation Services Inc. in Wake Forest.
