FRANKLINTON - Funeral services for Emma L. Smith, 91, who died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 19) at Union Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Samuel Tunstall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Etta Smith of Oxford and Mary Smith of Franklinton; sons, Edward Smith of Franklinton, William Smith of the home, Curtis Smith of Killeen, Tex., and Larry Smith of the home; sister, Lillie Mae Lawrence of Youngsville; brother, James O. Taborn of Franklinton; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
