FRANKLINTON - Hugh Nelson “Mac” McKenzie III, 59, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Blanche H. McKenzie; and sister, Sue McKenzie.

Surviving: wife, Carolyn L. McKenzie; brother, Troy McKenzie of Mt. Olive.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 113 Market St. Louisburg, NC 27549.
