DURHAM- Ruby Louise Stone, 88, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at UNC Hospitals. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, from the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham.

Born in Forsythe County, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Ernest Mock and Ruby Louise Spangler Mock.

Surviving: son, Richard “Rick” Stone (Pamela) of Franklinton; sister, Dorothy Singleton (Kramer) of Greensboro; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Stone, and one great-grandchild.   

Friends may visit prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
