RALEIGH - Funeral services for April L. Alston, 26, who died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, will be held at 1 p.m. today (Saturday, Jan. 12) at Freedom & Deliverance Outreach Center, with the Rev. Michael Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the Mary Helen Jones cemetery.

Surviving: mother, Lula Davis of the home; father, Jimmy L. Alston of Salisbury; sisters, Ebony Brodie of Butner, Kasey Wilkie of Welcome, Kelley Ellis of Spencer, and Bobbie Watkins of Brooklyn, N.Y.; brothers, Jimmy Lee Alston Jr. of Louisburg and Andrew Alston of the home.
