LOUISBURG – Edith Kemp Frisbie, 98, of Louisburg, died peacefully at her home Saturday morning. She was born in Franklin County and lived on the Terrell-Kemp home place for her entire life. Her parents were Edwin Abel Kemp and Irene Terrell Kemp.

Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Nelson Frisbie, and son, Charles Edward Frisbie.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Greg May; her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Becky Frisbie; and grandchildren, Brock (Lauren) Frisbie of Raleigh, Meredith (Brian) Newman of Clayton, and Christopher May of Louisburg.  She was also blessed with wonderful caregivers during her final years.

The family received friends at the home of Bob and Becky Frisbie from 6:00 – 8:00 on Sunday.
