FRANKLINTON- Funeral services for James Albert Cannady, 80, who died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Greater New Life Church, with Elder Dexter Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Dorothy M. Cannady of Franklinton; daughters, Sharron C. Bradshaw and Sonya Yvette Cannady, both of Raleigh, and Fonya Suzette Cannady of Knightdale; sons, Harvey T. Davis, Leander L. Davis and Albert Karcina Cannady, all of Franklinton; sisters, Margaret Loonstyn, Josephine Pong and Mary Pong; brother, Barry Pong; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
