LOUISBURG - Garland Frank Green, 74, died Sunday night, Jan. 14, 2007. A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, Jan. 17) at White Level Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

He was the son of the late Dalma Lee and Minnie Pearl Strickland Green. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtice Wood Green; son, Garland F. Green II; and his brother, Dayton Green. He sang in the White Level Baptist Church Choir and also with the Northeastern Piedmont Chorale.

Surviving: sons, Lowell Green of Richmond, Va., Cameron Green of Marshall Islands, and Alan Green of North Myrtle Beach, S. C.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church, Renovation Fund, 2500 White Level Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
