LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Florence Y. Solomon, 73, who died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Feb. 23) at Guilfield Baptist Church, with Bishop Johnny Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Alma Galbrieth of Greensboro and Linda Diane Ooms of Savannah, Ga.; sons, James Solomon and Billy Solomon, both of Louisburg; sisters, Alma Livemond of Easton, Pa., and Bernice Harris of Louisburg; brother, James Massenburg of Louisburg; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
