LOUISBURG – Luke Wesley Curtis, 21, died Sunday night, Feb. 24, 2013. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, Feb. 28, at Pearce Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Cottrell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the burial service.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, J.W. Perry, Jr., and his paternal grandfather, Harold Curtis, Sr.

Surviving: parents, Hal and Dotti Curtis; sister, Megan Curtis, all of Louisburg; brother, Chris Curtis of Wendell; maternal grandmother, Fran Perry of Bunn; paternal grandmother, Ann Curtis Hatcher of Wendell; and three nephews.
