LOUISBURG - Edward Norris Perdue, 88, of Louisburg died Tuesday in Nashville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday from Trinity United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Roger Owens. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Edith Anne Weaver and husband Jeff of Coats, N.C.; sons, Sammy Norris Perdue and wife Ann of Louisburg, Archie Clay Perdue and wife Carol of Louisburg; sisters, Grace P. Hayes of Louisburg and Edith P. Kearson of Henderson; grandchildren, Cortney P. and husband Karl Holshouser of Castalia, Eddy Boyette, Jr. and wife Gretchen of Monaca, Pa., Christy Perdue of Raleigh, Meg Perdue of Snow Hill, M. Travis Weaver, stationed in Norfolk, Va., Landon Weaver of Greenville, N.C., and Travis D. Weaver of Coats, N.C.

The family received friends from 7 to 8:30 Friday at Lancaster Funerals and Cremations, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, N. C.
