HOLLY SPRINGS - Philip David Pate, 30, died Wednesday Jan. 31, 2007. A funeral service will be conducted today (Saturday, Feb. 3) in the chapel of Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. (Highway 55), Apex, with the Revs. Jimmy Lambert and Phil Qualls officiating. Burial will be in Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.

Surviving: his wife, Susan Castleberry Pate; daughter, Makayla Marie Pate; parents, Emmett Stewart and Nancy Cain Pate of Youngsville; brother, Jonathan (Paula) of Raleigh; one niece and nephew; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
