LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Mr. Joseph “Boy” Holden, 53, who died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Haywood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Luther Coppedge officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Jackie Williams, Sharon Jones and Kestora Dean, all of Louisburg, and Joanna Sanford of Knightdale; son, Joseph Lamont Holden of Castalia; mother, Bettie Holden of the home; sisters, Mattie Bryant and Betty Paronie, both of Louisburg, Edna Ashley and Bertha Holden, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Lucy Holden of the home; brothers, Willie Holden of New York, N.Y., Jaycee Holden and John Holden, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and George Holden of the home; and nine grandchildren.

Wake services will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
