LOUISBURG - Funeral services for William C. Burgess Sr., 88, who died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, will be Saturday, Feb. 17, at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Perry’s Missionary Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Avis Burgess Young of Teaneck, N.J. and Felena Burgess of Bronx, N.Y.; sons, William C. Burgess Jr. of Clovis, N.M., and Rodney Burgess of Centerville.
