WENDELL - Irene Crawford, 88, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 13, in the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Wendell. Burial was in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Jim and Virginia Edwards Medlin.

Surviving: her husband, Leslie Crawford; son, Braxton Perry of Wake Forest; one special nephew, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
