LOUISBURG - Funeral services for George Davis, 79, who died Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, will be held Friday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at Mitchell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Daniel Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: son, Christopher Williams of Hampton, Va.; sister, Pattie Alston of Williamsboro; brothers, June Williams of Williamsboro, Lawrence Williams of Alert and Newman Williams of Kittrell.

Open visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
