LOUISBURG - Minnie Lou Dickerson Gilliam, 87, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Gilliam was the daughter of the late James Simon and Bessie Brewer Dickerson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Becky G. Ayscue.

Surviving: husband, Percy W. Gilliam; daughters, Betty (Rickey) Raynor of Louisburg, Connie (Gary) Faulkner of Youngsville; sons, Roland (Nancy) Gilliam, Wilson (Janice) Gilliam, all of Carthage, Donnie Gilliam, Tim (Janice) Gilliam, all of Louisburg; brother, Harold Dickerson of Louisburg; sister, Janice Capps of Colonial Heights, Va.; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday before the funeral and other times at the home.
