FRANKLINTON - Eric D. “Buck” Moss, 59, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at his home. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 13, at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Kittrell with the Rev. Fred McGhee and the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of Nathan Nathaniel Moss and Estelle Bryant Moss. He was a retired mechanic, having been employed by Aamco Transmissions and Mini-City Transmissions.

Surviving: his former wife, Joyce Ann Moss; a son, Wesley Allen Moss of Hickory; a daughter, Jacqueline Michelle Moss of Hickory; his mother, Estelle Bryant Moss of Franklinton; sisters, Carolyn (Ashley) Debnam of Youngsville and Joyce (Jeff) Cash of Franklinton; brothers, Nathan Bryant Moss of Franklinton and Michael L. “Snip” Moss of Bunn.
