FRANKLINTON - Emily Egerton Todd, 58, died Monday, March 19, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 24, at Mount Peace Baptist Church, Raleigh, with the Rev. J. Vincent Terry Sr. officiating. Interment followed in Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church cemetery, Franklinton.

She was the daughter of the late Moses Egerton and Mary Perry Egerton. She received her education in the Franklin County School System and Hardbarger Business College.

Surviving: husband, Ronald L. Todd of the home; daughters, Sharró Salley (Freddie) of Raleigh and Diedgra Walker (Glenn) of Romulus, Mich.; mother, Mary P. Egerton of Franklinton; brother, William S. Egerton (Bernestine) of Franklinton; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
