FOUR OAKS - David Gerald “Goody” Medlin, 63, died Monday, May 7, 2007 at UNC at Chapel Hill. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, May 12) in the chapel of Minshew Funeral Home, with Dr. Lawrence Pounds and Mrs. Mary Pounds officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Surviving: sons, Jason Medlin of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Stephen Medlin of Maryland; sisters, Margie Hudson of Franklinton, Mary Pounds of Four Oaks and Faye Wilson of Franklinton; brothers, Fleming Medlin of Roxboro, Avery Medlin of Youngsville and Ralph Medlin of Four Oaks; 19 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Medlin.

The family will be at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
