MARGARET "MEG" WIEGERT JACKSON

YOUNGSVILLE--A very special Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend, Margaret (Meg) Wiegert Jackson, 57, of Youngsville, NC, left our presence to enter into heaven on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Wake Med Hospital. She was the daughter of Jacques and Elinora Wiegert of Mount Kisco, NY, and was born on May 29, 1960.

Meg was a true Bear Artist and Collector who loved making a Pinney Bear to have their own personality. She was a self-taught artist, in the art of bear making, who gradually perfected her skills. Her company name, Pinney Bears, is a tribute to her Grandparents and from a Teddy Bear she had as a child that was lost. Meg was also a true animal lover who supported many animal groups and adored her kitties, especially "Puddin." Meg was also a graduate of Emma Willard School for Girls in Troy, NY, and Dutchess Community College, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Meg is preceded in death by her parents, Jacques and Elinora Wiegert; her brother, James Wiegert, and her Aunt Lilley.

She is survived by: her husband, William; son, Dan, of Wake Forest, NC; stepson, William, of Salem, OR; stepdaughter, Tamee and Tony Taylor, of Baltimore, MD; granddaughter, Lilly Jackson; step-grandchildren, Sean and Kara Taylor, Alex and Kyle Jackson, Brian and Lauren Taylor of Frisco, TX; step-great-grandchildren, Judah and Selah Taylor; many other family members and friends.

A Remembrance Service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest, NC, Rev. Jim Magee officiating.
