ZEBULON - Norwood Greene Martin, 67, (Pilot community), died Wednesday morning, June 13, 2007 at WakeMed. Funeral services were conducted Friday, June 15, in the Strickland Funeral Home chapel in Wendell. Burial followed at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

He was the son of the late Nina Greene and Brodie Martin.

Surviving: his wife, Diane H. Martin; son, Neil Martin (Jenice) of Raleigh; daughters, Jennifer Brantley (Ricky) and Yvonne Jordan (Mike), all of Zebulon; stepdaughter, Denise Barton of Youngsville; sister, Jocelyn Perkerson (Jim) of Texas; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Norwood Martin Medical Expense Benefit. Checks must be made payable to Yvonne Jordan or Jennifer Brantley, P. O. Box 186, Zebulon, NC 27597.
