YOUNGSVILLE - Donna Elam Hicks, 44, died Monday morning, June 18, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg, with the Rev. Butch Gordon officiating. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

She was the daughter of Julia B. and Guy D. Elam. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alan Elam.

In addition to her parents, Donna is survived by her husband, Everette G. Hicks; brothers, Wesley Elam of Louisburg and Johnny Elam of Youngsville; stepsons, Eddie Hicks of Ocala, Fla., and Scott Hicks of Youngsville.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 tonight (Wednesday, June 20) at Strickland Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
