WARREN D. WILDER


FRANKLINTON - Warren D. Wilder, 62, died Monday, July 16, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 21, at First Baptist Church in Franklinton, with the Rev. Yvonne Beasley officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in Franklinton.

He was born to the late Milton Wilder and Henrietta White Wilder, the youngest son of nine children. He was a Vietnam Army veteran. Mr. Wilder worked with General Motors in Newark, N.J. for many years before returning to Franklinton, where he retired after 27 years of employment with Crown Zellaback in Raleigh.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donnell Wilder, and his sister, Deborah W. Jones.

Surviving: special friend, Mary Ann Allen of Louisburg; sister, Marion Wilder of the home; children, Sabrina Albany (Antonio) of Allendale, S. C., and Victor Wilder of Newark, N.J.; siblings, Milton Jr. (Eunice) of East Orange, N. J., Lawrence (Gloria) of Raleigh, Joseph (Jessie) of Mays Landing, N.J., Marion Wilder of Franklinton, Charles (Sandra) of Hillside, N.J., Mazie W. Wiggins; and two grandchildren.
