ZEBULON - Cleacy Collins Jr., 53, died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 23, at Christ Holiness Church #1 in Wake Forest. Burial followed in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.

He was born in Franklin County to the late Cleacy Buddy and Lillie Mae Collins.

Surviving: wife, Effie Collins of Raleigh; son, Gerard A. Collins of Raleigh; daughters, Lykeshia L. Collins of Raleigh and Lillian D. Collins of Rolesville; brother, James H. Collins of Rahway, N.J.; sisters, Alma Alston of Centerville, Pearl Brown (Charles) of Littleton, Bertha O’Neal of Louisburg, Katie Addison of Atlanta, Ga., and Annie Parsons (Lee) of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and two grandchildren.
