NASHVILLE - Graveside services for Plummer Ricks, 85, who died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at Oakland Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Ricks officiating.

Surviving: daughters, Carolyn Ricks of Virginia, Jackquline Richardson of Castalia, Geraldine James of Greensboro, Linda Ricks and Judy Ricks, both of Nashville, and Marilyn Matundo of Spring Hope; sons, Plummer Ricks Jr., Sidney Ricks and Richard Ricks, all of Rocky Mount, Dennis Ricks of Spring Hope, James Ricks of Newport News, Va., and Jesse Ricks of Portsmouth, Va.

Open visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight (Saturday, Aug. 4) at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
