ZEBULON - Alice Smith Barham, 90, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Aug. 7, in Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh.

A native of Ware Neck, Va., she was daughter to the late Jim and Emma Spangler Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallie Barham, who died while serving in the Korean War.

Surviving: son, Julian Barham (Elaine) of Zebulon; daughters, Joyce B. Moore (Bob) of Indiana, Pa., and Judy Castleberry (Larry) of Clayton; sister, Margaret Stevens of Williamsburg, Va.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
