RALEIGH - Dorothy G. “Dot” Casey, 79, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Andrews United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Casey retired from Peace College as a receptionist.

Surviving: sons, Allen Casey (Jane) of Wilmington, Ralph Casey (Charma) of Bunn, Ernie Casey of Garner; sisters, Betty Flowers of Goldsboro and Shirley Daulton of Crewe, Va.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay E. Casey; brother, Coy “Sonny” Gainey; sister, Barbara “Pinky” Spencer.
