SPRINGFIELD, Va. - Frank M. Mahoney, 81, died at his residence on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted Monday, Aug. 13, in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Annanadale, Va., with the Rev. Terry W. Specht, celebrant. Burial followed in the Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Va. on Aug. 17.

Surviving: wife, Hazel Cottrell Mahoney, formerly of Franklin County; children, Michael, Stephen (Deanne), Patricia, Catherine (Gary), and Christopher; and nine grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Hospice, 6565 Arlington Blvd., Suite 500, Falls Church, VA 22042.
