HENDERSON - Linda Peeden Thompson, 56, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007 at Britthaven of Louisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Sept. 1) at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church by the Rev. Allen Williams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Elwood Edgar Peeden Sr. and Virginia Kee Peeden.

She was a former dental assistant at the office of Dr. Joe Evans. She was a member of the Thompson Family Singers.

Surviving: husband, Ronnie Jackson Thompson Jr.; a daughter, Nancy Kee Thompson of the home; a son, Jason Reavis Thompson of Henderson; brothers, Elwood Edgar Peeden Jr. and Larry Dennis Peeden, both of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
