ELIJAH MILLER


FRANKLINTON - Elijah Miller, 65, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Sept. 1, at Freedom and Deliverance Outreach Center COGIC, Louisburg, with the Rev. Lorenzo N. Peterson officiating. Interment was in the Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church cemetery, Franklinton.

He was born in Lynchburg, S.C., to the late Robert Miller and Addie Bell Fulwood Miller. He was employed by BA Temple Pickle Produce of Brooklyn, N.Y. as a truck driver for many years.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Surviving: his wife, Elizabeth K. Miller of the home; children, Sheldon L. Miller (Tabitha) of Phoenix, Ariz., and Adrian T. Miller of Brooklyn, N. Y.; brothers, Garfield Miller of Sumter, S.C., Alphonza Miller (Theola) of Philadelphia, Pa., Jasper Miller (Mary) of Brooklyn, N.Y., Raymond Miller (Gwen) of Wilmington, Del., and Willie Miller (Bertha) of Hopkins, S.C.; sisters, Franscina Gamble of Lynchburg, S. C., Carrie Lamar of Marion, S.C., and Elizabeth Tucker (Julius) of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren.
