FRANKLINTON – Funeral services for James Cary Jones, 59, who died on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, were held on Sept. 6 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the Concord Church cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Shawanda Noel of Henderson; one son, Carl Johnson of Franklinton; his mother, Roberta P. Jones of the home; one sister, Gloria Jones of the home; one brother, Robert S. Jones of Louisburg; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
