FRANKLINTON - Funeral services for the Rev. Roger Brodie, 96, who died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Perry’s Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. S. T. Tunstall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Clementine Reese of Mattapan, Mass., and Eunice Dowdy of the home; sons, Roger Brodie Jr. of Franklinton and Norris C. Brodie of Raleigh; sister, Nannie Evans of Baltimore, Md.; brother, Wilbert Brodie of Centerville; and 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be from 7 to 8 tonight (Saturday, Sept. 22) at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
