On September 10, 2007, Polly N. Kearney died peacefully at age 87.

Polly was a nurse in the Baltimore area for more than 43 years. She spent her retirement traveling, reading and taking care of her growing family. Her last five active years were in Rose Manor Assisted Living in Ellicott City.

She is survived by her loving son Thomas (Tony) W. Kearney, and his wife, Janet; grandchildren, Tod (Susan), Sean, Joy and Jeff Kearney; great-grandson, Tyler Kearney, and his mom, Dawn Gibson; also numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Franklin Funeral Chapel, Franklinton.
