LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Mr. James C. Kearney, 87, who died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 20, at 3 p.m. at Old Liberty Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles A. Murrill Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Loretta Lewis and Robin Perry, both of Louisburg, and Mary Broadnax of Durham; son, Tony Kearney of Franklinton; sisters, Mildred Eaton of Youngsville and Katie Carroll of Washington, D.C.; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
