LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Mae Smith Long, 66, who died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Cedar Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sylvester White officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: husband, Wilbert Long of the home; daughters, Christine Edgerton and Carolyn Sutton, both of Louisburg; sons, Wilbert Earl Long, Arthur Glenn Long, Bennie Long and Charles Long, all of Louisburg; sisters, Lula Terrell and Azell Bryant, both of Spring Hope, and Alice Carroll of Baltimore, Md.; brothers, Bobby Smith and Joe Louis Wright, both of Spring Hope, Joe Raymond Smith of Warrenton and William Smith Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
