LOUISBURG – Lucille House Denton, 75, of the Wood Community, passed away Friday night following a long illness.

Lucille was a daughter of the late Eddie H. and Rhue G. House and was a native of Franklin County.

Lucille is survived by her husband of 56 years, J.B. Denton; daughter and son in-law, Ava and Kenneth Addington of Louisburg; grandchildren, Matthew J. McCormick, Caitlin D. Schoultz, J.R. Addington; sister, Hilda H. Soden of Rocky Mount.

There will be a private burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 7759 Edwards Road, Castalia, NC 27816
