LOUISBURG - Funeral services for John “June” Kearney Jr., 69, who died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, by the Rev. Thomas Richardson, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Maxine M. Moore of Durham and Carolyn K. Perry of Butner; sons, Curtis D. Kearney of Greensboro and Alexander S. Kearney of Austell, Ga.; one sister, Shirley Peterson of Louisburg; and six grandchildren.

Wake services will be from 7 to 8 tonight (Wednesday, Oct. 31) at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
