CASTALIA – Emily Collins Gardner, 62, of 2903 White Level Road, died Friday morning.

Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Sunday at White Level Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Stamper, Rev. Leo Lowery and Dr. Ken Altom officiating. Burial followed in the Collins Family Cemetery.

Emily is survived by her husband of 43 years, John E. Gardner, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny E. and Lydia Gardner, Jr. of Louisburg; grandson, Ben Gardner of Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2400 White Level Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family received friends at the home at all times.

Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
