NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Tasker Richardson, 85, who died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Elaine Brittingham of Rocky Mount and Kismet Richardson of the home; son, James Richardson of Whitakers; sisters, Katherene Mitchell of Hampton, Va., and Geneva Thomas of Castalia; one brother, Herbert Richardson of Nashville; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
