WAKE FOREST - Gladys Hicks Perry White, 93, died Monday morning, Dec. 10, 2007 at Rex Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 12) at Beulah Christian Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Lonza Hicks and Siddie Moody Hicks. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husbands, C.J. “Big Baby” Perry and Elton White; a son, Doug Perry (Linda); brothers Joe, Lonnie and Mack Hicks.

Surviving: her daughter, Rachel P. Garner of Wake Forest; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
