LOUISBURG – Nack Gupton, 91, of 300 Albert Gupton Road, died Saturday night at his home.

Nack was a son of the late Albert Sidney and Lula Foster Gupton. He was a World War II Army Air Corps Veteran.

Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Monday at Mountain Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Lynch officiating. Burial followed in the Gupton Family Cemetery.

Nack is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margie Gupton; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Donne Shearin of Louisburg; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Vicki Gupton of Louisburg; grandsons, Jason Shearin and wife Shelly, Jeff Shearin and wife Michelle; 4 great-grandsons.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Grove Baptist Church, Building Fund, 834 Alert Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family received friends at the home at all times.

Arrangements were by Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
