LOUISBURG - James Lee “BoBo” Harris Sr., 63, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 9, 2008. A funeral service was conducted Friday, Jan. 11, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg. Burial followed in Corinth Baptist Church cemetery.

He was the son of the late Roger James and Pearl Wrenn Harris. He was a native of Franklin County and a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving: his wife, Shelby Patton Harris; daughters, Jamie H. Bell (Billy) of Louisburg, Melissa J. Ayscue of Timberlake; sons, James L. “Lee” Harris Jr. (Jessica), Ryan “Scott” Harris (Amy), and Kelvin Ayscue, all of Louisburg; sister, Becky Rowe (Mike) of Louisburg; and six grandchildren.
