LOUISBURG - Ethel Medlin Sthreshley, 81, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 5, 2008. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Centerville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Keith Campbell officiating.

She was a daughter of the late William Henry and Sadie Gupton Medlin Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marius Sthreshley; daughters, Penny Cash and Mary Lynn Sthreshley; sister, Dorothy M. Gupton; brothers, Junior Medlin and Charles Medlin.

Surviving: her sons, Bill Cash, C. G. Cash (Judy), all of Louisburg; stepdaughter, Betty Grissom of Chester, Va.; stepsons, Jim Sthreshley (Jane) of Stafford, Va., Marius Sthreshley (Jean) of McKenney, Va., Sam Sthreshley (Linda) of Chesterfield, Va.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
