RALEIGH - Thomas Wayne “Tom” Cooper, 44, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008. A Celebration of Life service was conducted Sunday, Feb. 11, at Flat Rock Baptist Church, Louisburg. Entombment followed immediately after the service.

He was born in Wake County to Joyce Holder Cooper and the late Andrew Jackson “June” Cooper Jr. He worked for more than 25 years in the heating and air industry.

Surviving: his wife, LuAnne Cash Cooper; brother, Steve Cooper (Susan) of Raleigh; sister, Linda C. Cooley (Chris) of Charlotte; grandmother, Pattie “MaMa” Cash of Louisburg; three nephews and one niece; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. In lieu of flowers and food, the family requests that contributions be made to the Childhood Cancer Program, c/o Carlton Baird, 308 Fenmore Place, Cary, NC 27519-6318.
