LOUISBURG – Irene A. Strickland, 74, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008 at Franklin Regional Medical Center in Louisburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today (Saturday, Feb. 16) at Alston-Anderson Funeral Home in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Greater Lovely Hill Baptist Church cemetery in Macon.

Surviving: son, Ronald Curtis Strickland of Louisburg; sisters, Mary E. Thompson of Macon, Frances D. Somerville of Oxford and Lenora Siblal of Hillside, N.J.; and one grandchild.
