FRANKLINTON - Christine M. Spruill, 75, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Willingboro, N.J. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 8, at First Baptist Church in Franklinton, with the Rev. André Johnson officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.

She was born in Franklinton, daughter of the late Moses and Annie Montague. She was a graduate of Albion Academy in Franklinton. She was employed as a laboratory technician for several years and later served in the public schools in Willingboro, N. J. for 20 years. Her husband, John Spruill, preceded her in death.

Surviving: two children, John (Butch) and Audrey of Baltimore, Md.; sisters, Clara Hammett of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., and Mae Bell Hawkins (Herbert) of Washington, D. C.
