RALEIGH – Joseph Preston Jackson died Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, March 15) at Mt. Peace Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow in Carolina Biblical Gardens in Garner.

Visitation will be today from 10:30-11 a.m. at the church.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy J. Shaw of the home, Brenda J. Evora and Pamela F. Smith, both of Wendell, Jacqueline J. Trollinger of Zebulon, Josephine D. Taylor of Rolesville, Deborah C. Jackson of Boston, Mass., and Veronica Elder of Athens, Ga.; sons, Craig L. Jackson of Wake Forest and Abraham Jackson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sisters, Barbara J. Adams of Silver Spring, Md., and Gloria J. Wardwell of Portland, Ore.; 31 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
